About us

The OBO Industrial Park (OBO IP) was founded in 1999 to utilise the site of the OBO Bettermann Group for industrial purposes and to provide a modern and professionally efficient basis for the group's manufacturing developments.

The Industrial Park is managed by (the Property Management and Services Ltd.) Bettermann Ingatlankezelő és Szolgáltató Kft..

The favourable geographical location of the OBO Industrial Park has also contributed to the continuous growth of the OBO Bettermann Group in Hungary since 1997.

Area

The village of Bugyi with 5,149 inhabitants and an area of 11,558 hectares was founded about 30 kilometres south of Budapest at the junction of the Ócsa–Kiskunlacháza and Taksony–Dabas–Kunpeszér roads. It covers an area of about 25 kilometres from north to the south, with a 2–8 km wide strip of land. Its size is explained by the fact that it covers the area of several medieval villages (Bugyi, Vány, Ráda, Ürbő) and a manor whose name is no longer known.
